To mark the 50th anniversary of I Love Lucy, TV Guide magazine and TV Land cable TV channel teamed up to select the "50 Funniest Moments" from I Love Lucy.
In addition, TV Guide produced a commemorative set of eight I Love Lucy covers (one is featured here) highlighting those moments.
For its part, TV Land, the cable channel, telecast an I Love Lucy marathon during October 15th-19th, 2001, showcasing the episodes from which the funniest moments were selected.
