Yul Brynner was a Russian-American actor. He became widely known for his portrayal of King Mongkut in the Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical The King and I, for which he won two Tony Awards, and later won an Academy Award for the film adaptation.

Born May 22nd in Jacksonville, FL...I spent many years living in the beaches area of Jacksonville. I also lived in other other parts of the state of Florida, Virginia, Oklahoma, and Texas. I traveled many states (too many to mention)... I was the oldest of 6 kids. I have been an self taught artist and writer most of my life. Even as a child I showed artistic ability, winning awards as early as the 1st grade. Though artistic talent runs in the family...as my dad is a painter of oils...my favorite way is to create and produce is digitally.
